AADP Offshore Operations

One platform for stock, spares, maintenance readiness, procurement follow-up, assets, MSDS, lifting equipment and daily work. The earlier materials developments and newer registers are modules of AADP Offshore Operations.

Developed by Vijayaprakash Govindarajan, drawing on offshore materials and planned-maintenance experience, with AI-assisted development.

A few minutes inside the workflow

The guided demo uses fictional records. Check spare coverage and a late PO, then see the linked shortage on the work update and report preview. Save an example work update and preview its report; open an asset photo and identity, then follow its rig–shore–rig movement with both manifest references, vessel and recorded locations; record test consumption from a 1,000 L tank; and see why a routine inspection does not clear a lifting-item quarantine.

It is a focused browser demonstration of selected workflows, not the full local application. Changes reset when the page reloads. No login, file uploads or onboard connection is needed.

One platform. Twelve mapped modules.

Use the single platform entrance to explore stock and spares, procurement and maintenance readiness alongside work reporting and registers. One shared development register tracks all twelve modules, their earlier evidence, current gaps and next integration checks. Future additions belong to this platform rather than another disconnected demonstration.

What works. What comes next.

Working prototype

Daily work & linked registers

Work updates, photographs, daily HTML and print-to-PDF reports, issued revisions and archive. A searchable Asset Datasheet with permanent identity/steel-plate design, manufacturer/model, fictional purchase history, documents and linked movements. New assets can be registered under configurable company numbering templates, using manual or automatic allocation in the guided demo. Asset/location records, MSDS products with container quantities, lifting evidence, attachments and event history.

Owner review covered quantity changes, asset revisions and movement, persistent quarantine and a PNG attachment. A manufacturer MSDS was unavailable; its attachment review remains pending.

New local candidate · acceptance pending

Trace asset custody through a crew change

Version 0.6.0 links a serialised asset to outgoing and incoming manifest references and dates, supply vessel/voyage, dispatch and destination receipt. Customs holds, repair-return follow-up, unidentified arrivals and cargo handover snapshots retain the evidence behind the last recorded custody.

Integrated with the local asset register, documents and optional work job. The public Asset Register now demonstrates a bounded fictional rig–shore–rig movement journey with photo and identity. The complete local custody candidate still needs browser and operational acceptance.

Being developed

Review old records inside the Asset Register

Import Excel/CSV, searchable PDF and email files into source-linked review proposals. Retain the original, sheet/row or page, SHA-256 and review decision. Local scanned-PDF OCR is available; the public scan sample uses precomputed local OCR. Historical locations never automatically replace current custody.

Each new transport plan records its department request email reference, sender, department, subject and date alongside manifest and vessel evidence. This does not authenticate the email or grant transport approval. No live AMOS/Maximo or inbox connection has been demonstrated.

Planned

A connected superintendent workspace

Shared authenticated rig/base access, source-linked exceptions, quantity and partial cargo receipts, formal manifest amendments, campaign planning, contractor readiness, full rotation handovers and onboard/shore replication. The twelve-module roadmap has partial implementations; no module is fully operationally accepted.

Prepare a familiar air or sea cargo manifest

Inside the Asset Register demo, choose Prepare air / sea manifest. Edit company/rig templates with titles, local logo, columns, declarations and signature spaces. Type a cargo description to see earlier entries; select, modify and save a new record while preserving the original.

Record earlier cargo as historical with its date/source reference. Search also distinguishes saved drafts/issued manifests, movement plans and asset records. Local issue, amendments and cancellation retain revisions. Manifest preparation does not dispatch cargo or authenticate approval.

Preview the header, cargo table and totals; download HTML or Excel-compatible CSV, or use browser Print / Save as PDF. Completed native saving/printing and exact company form acceptance remain pending. All public sample cargo and weights are fictional; public changes clear on reload/reset.

Keep familiar company and rig registers

Company / rig templates now configure Asset, MSDS, Chemical Stock and Lifting register titles, labels, field order and additional required fields. Company defaults, rig overrides and reusable source-column mappings retain revision history.

Import historical product/SDS, container/batch/quantity and lifting/certificate records into reviewed evidence. Originals, sheet/row or page and decisions stay linked. Historical quantities do not overwrite stock; certificates do not automatically authorise equipment use. Local OCR handles scanned PDFs; the public scan sample uses precomputed local OCR.

Roles/workflow instructions are recorded guidance. Exact customer document layouts, authenticated approval routing and operational acceptance remain pending.

Where did the item go after it left the rig?

An item leaves on a supply vessel. Its manifest entry or tag is missing, the yard records are incomplete, and the onboard team changes on a 28/28 rotation. The next person must reconstruct its location through emails. A useful custody record must survive that change of people.

The local candidate records both manifest references, vessel, dates, last-confirmed custodian and supporting evidence separately from the intended destination. A vessel acknowledgement does not establish shore-base receipt. Repair completion or handover acknowledgement does not close an outstanding return.

Try it: open Asset Register in the guided demo. Search DEMO-GEN-001 to open its Asset Datasheet: identification-plate design, manufacturer/model, purchase/receipt/invoice history, documents and gaps. Record each movement, inspect the location and both manifest references, then open the incoming-reliever view. Prepare a printable fictional datasheet snapshot with its available photo and recorded location. Company policies support prefixes, numeric widths, suffixes and manual/automatic allocation; existing asset numbers remain unchanged when a policy is edited. The example photo is AI-generated and all identifiers are fictional.

Local application evidence: 68 local unit tests and 11 offline mapping tests passed. Browser acceptance for 0.6.0 is pending because Chromium was unavailable in the build environment. No operational loss reduction or savings have been measured.

Repository access may be required. The research does not establish a representative current worldwide offshore asset-loss rate. Historical unreturned repairs, missing CMMS records and cross-industry surveys describe different populations.

The operational problem

Too much stock ties up money and space. One missing critical spare can put maintenance and production at risk. A part can be on order and still arrive too late for the job. Teams need to connect the required quantity and date with usable stock, existing demand and realistic onboard delivery.

Stock, spares & maintenance readiness

Spares Readiness is a core module of this same platform. The earlier materials monitor, Superintendent Daily Brief, mobile materials training and newer workbench contribute to one development programme. Their retained case studies are evidence of earlier increments, not separate products.

Integration status: the public platform brings these areas together in one navigation. Shared records, source adapters and end-to-end runtime integration across the older components remain in development; existing implementations and tests are being retained and reconciled.

PM materials readiness

Allocate free stock and eligible incoming supply across recorded work-order part requirements without counting the same supply twice. Show uncovered quantities and lead-time-based ordering deadlines.

Requisition and PO visibility

Separate pending requests from outstanding issued PO quantities. Show linked requisition, quotation and PO references with delivery dates.

Department coordination

Route alerts by role and department, assign follow-up, record acknowledgement and resolve or reopen alerts as simulated source conditions change.

Source-system authority

Read a separate simulated source while retaining local accounts, cache, notification rules and follow-up. No stock, purchase or source-approval transactions are posted by this module.

Work alongside existing onboard and onshore systems

The intended integration connects authorised maintenance, inventory, procurement, logistics and controlled-document data. Each source retains its authority. Stores must control physical receipts and issues through source-system permissions; procurement and designated authorities retain sourcing and approval responsibilities.

Current connection: a read-only adapter to a simulated database. Future integration: operator- and vendor-approved exports, APIs or read-only views, validated for each system. Live AMOS/Maximo compatibility is not yet demonstrated.

Spares Readiness evidence and limits

Owner-reviewed screens and three exported alert briefs demonstrate detection, assignment, acknowledgement, resolution and recurrence. The v6.2 package reported 30 passing unit tests. The public case study provides an illustrated walkthrough of those outcomes; it is not the running local application.

The PM calculation covers recorded part lines, not certification of complete job readiness or equipment-failure prediction. Full inventory optimization, supply-disruption forecasting, AI document interpretation and external notifications remain future work. Production deployment, customer savings and downtime reduction have not been measured.

AADP and AADP-Ops

AADP means Agentic AI Discipline Protocol. It is the published framework for disciplined AI-assisted work: explicit scope, evidence, verification and human authority. AADP-Ops explores operational applications of those principles. AADP Offshore Operations is the unified offshore platform; Spares Readiness, the Superintendent Daily Brief and the workbench are modules or development increments within it.

Mobile stores workflows — earlier platform increment

An earlier synthetic phone demonstration covered QR inputs, part and bin verification, work-order issue, separate approval, receipt into quarantine and inspected put-away. Its recorded cycle contains five successful transaction events and one blocked approval attempt. These transaction-training examples are retained within the platform history; the current readiness monitor remains read-only.
