FINANCIAL LITERACY · LEARNING SIMULATION

In active development

Money Life Lab

Help children understand money by making simulated decisions—not simply memorising financial definitions.

The idea

Money becomes meaningful when a learner has to decide what to earn, spend, save, invest or borrow. Money Life Lab is being designed as a practical simulation environment where financial concepts are connected to choices and consequences.

Learning through decisions

Earn & Spend

Explore income, work, entrepreneurship, needs, wants, budgeting and everyday purchase decisions.

Save & Invest

Build an understanding of saving, compounding, shares and other investment choices through simulation.

Assets & Liabilities

Learn how ownership, borrowing, loans and recurring costs affect personal finances over time.

Modern Money

Explore banking, accounts, cards, UPI and digital payments alongside safety and responsible use.

Design direction

  1. Start with simulated moneyGive the learner a safe environment in which choices have visible consequences.
  2. Make a decisionEarn, spend, save, invest or take on a financial obligation.
  3. See the effectObserve how cash, assets, liabilities and future choices change.
  4. Reflect and progressUse feedback to build stronger financial judgement over successive levels.

Current status

In active development. The learning model, simulations and governed application workflow are being developed iteratively.
